Safety

We take safeguarding very seriously at Ilkley Youth Choir.  All members of staff and volunteers hold a fully enhanced DBS check and are expected to sign and adhere to our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy.  At least two members of staff are trained in Adult and Paediatric First Aid and have yearly Child Protection and Safeguarding training. We are members of BBE (Brass Bands England) and both of our Musical Directors hold certificates in the Bandsafe safeguarding training.  All of our Policies, Procedures and Training Certificates are available to view at every rehearsal should you wish to take a look and we are also more than happy to share these with choir member’s parents and prospective choir member parents. Email info@ilkleyyouthchoir.co.uk to be sent a copy.  Your child’s safety is our top priority and we always want you and them to feel that they are safe whilst in our care.
